Terms and Conditions

To ensure your experience goes as magically as possible, please read carefully our Terms and Conditions. By paying your party deposit you are entering into a binding agreement between The Princess Emporium and the customer, whose name is on the booking form. 


Booking

  • When booking a Princess, we are very lucky to have a team of versatile performers, able to portray a variety of characters. If a particular performer is requested we will do our best to make this happen, but it can’t be guaranteed due to availability and other reasons. Rest assured though, the whole team is the same exceptionally high standard. 


    In very rare circumstances, we may have to change the performer or character. It is unlikely this will happen, and you will be made aware in as much advance as possible and given options.

  • The price quoted for all our packages is for a maximum number of 30 children. This is due to safety and performer to child ratio, and for the general enjoyment for everyone. We are entertainers but not childminders, by inviting more guests you run the risk of not everyone staying engaged and the performers may find it harder to keep control.

  • Fuel charges apply for bookings further than 10 miles radius from the base of the performer allocated onto your party. Please ensure there is an allocated parking space kept for the performer as close to the venue as possible as this could possibly delay the performer’s arrival. Parking must also be paid for if it is not free at your chosen venue.

  • In the unfortunate event that we have to cancel your booking completely, we will issue a full refund. This is very unlikely to happen!

Deposits

  • When making an enquiry, your chosen Princess will be provisionally held on standby for 24 hours. We secure the date only once a non- refundable deposit has been paid. Unfortunately we cannot hold dates without a deposit due to the volume of enquiries we receive.

  • Deposit are non refundable. There are two reasons for this - as soon as the deposit is placed we begin to plan and buy supplies for your party. It also acts as security for both you and ourselves - you know that your desired date and character is secure and we also can plan our books accordingly

  • We do take into account sickness and other unforeseen circumstances, and we are able to discuss rescheduling if the situation arises.

    Please be aware if very short notice there may be an additional charge.
 


Performers

  • Our Performer stays in full character throughout their performance and we therefore require that the organiser is responsible for the children’s welfare at the party including behaviour and safety of the children.

  • The Princess Emporium will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour and the performer has the right to leave if they are being treated inappropriately at the party. Payment will not be refunded in this case.

  • The performer must not be left alone with the children, please ensure the appropriate number of adults is present at the party for safeguarding reasons.

  • The performer will arrive and leave at the exact time stated in the booking. If you wish for them to arrive earlier before the guests, then please book additional time for this. If there is a delay for any reason then you will be contacted on the number you have provided on the booking form. Please have your phone ready prior to the start of the party booking time as your performer will call when they have arrived outside the venue.

  • It is at the discretion of the performer to change activities accordingly based on time, space and responses of the children particularly for younger children.

Your Responsibilities

  • It is the organiser’s responsibility to ensure the children at the party can have their photograph taken. Please inform us if any children attending the party are not to be used in our promotional materials e.g. Facebook/website/flyers etc. 


  • It is your responsibility as the organiser to ensure no one is allergic to the Glitter Tattoos used and other products that will be used, and permission has been given to use nail varnish.

If there is something in particular you wish to do please advise us beforehand. We will be in touch with you prior to your booking. If there are any changes to your booking please update us as soon as possibly. If there is a change of details to the original booking we cannot guarantee that we can automatically carry this out as we would need to check availability etc.
